Eye-Catching Christmas Centerpieces

Entertain in style this season with a festive centerpiece for your holiday table. We all love decor we can keep from year to year, especially flowers that look like the real thing. Unfortunately, artificial flowers just seem outdated to me and don't hold their charm forever, but paper flowers will.

Plus as an added bonus, since paper flowers last longer than fresh flowers, you can use the display throughout the season. So now, you can create an alternative to the classic bouquet and brighten up your home throughout the year.

Festive Flurry Snowflake Glass Ornaments

Thanksgiving is but a sweet memory.

Christmas decorating is now in full swing! Just as you all start to unpack your Christmas decor and begin your family traditions, why not add something new to the festivities this year?

 

I have many ornament styles to offer from, glass ornaments beautifully topped with my paper poinsettias to this years additions of festive paper snowflakes.

Christmas Tags & Cards Gift Set

Today I have a 3-D project to share with you, that I have been working on in the background for a while. It is a gift set of Christmas gift cards and tags that is perfect for someone who appreciates handmade but isn't able to do it themselves.

This is a box set of 6 Christmas cards (A2~4 1/4 X 5 1/2) with envelopes and 8 coordinating gift tags. Sometimes it's just nice to have something more than just a gift tag and these are the perfect combination. The project uses my newest stamp set Festive Flurry by Stampin Up! and the coordinating framelits dies.

Firstly, here is a photo of the finished Gift set. I tried hard not have a reflection on the acetate lid, but wasn't totally successful. So this is pictured without the lid, but it does come with one.

On the right are the sectioned off areas for the tags and on the left the 6 cards and envelopes. The card fronts are all in white and each card is embossed with a different design, but the card base it self is actually a Icy Mint Blue--just maybe hard to see in the pictures. Also, the back of the tags are blank so that you can write your own To: and From:....

I hope I have inspired you to give the gift of handmade gift cards and tags to someone special. Throwback Thursday?

I know most of you are probably getting ready for Thanksgiving next week, but for me my brain is already set on Christmas (yeah I'm one of those people, lol). 

So, that being said and it being "Throwback Thursday" and all, I wanted to share with you my Christmas tree from last year.

It features some of my handmade ornaments and front and center is one of my Large White Winter Paper Magnolia. These can be used in your tree or as part of a holiday center piece.
